Visa Information

Germany is part of the Schengen Area: residents in the European Union and Schengen visa holders do not need a new visa for Germany.

German also has an arrangement for visa-free access with some countries. Please check on this list whether you require a visa or not to enter Germany. More visa information regarding visiting German can be found here.

Supporting Visa Support Letters

Visa support letters can be issued to attendees as well as authors with accepted papers, posters, or members of the conference committee.

Please send your requests to Sebastian Voss (voss@fortiss.org). You should allow up to 5 business days to receive it. All requests are handled in the order they are received. The information below should be included with the request:

1. the title of the work presented at the conference
2. complete mail address
3. passport number
4. title you wish to use for the letter (Ms, Mr, Dr, etc.)
